Led Zeppelin Reunion Concert Videos

December 12th, 2007

On September 12, 2007, it was confirmed during a press conference by promoter Harvey Goldsmith that the surviving members of Led Zeppelin would reunite in aid of the Ahmet Ertegun education fund for a show at The O2 in London on 26 November 2007, with Jason Bonham filling in on drums.

Along Floyd and Doors, Led Zeppelin was one of the most influential bands of my youth. Although I’ve just discovered them less than 10 years ago i consider Led Zeppelin a legend of rock music. The reunion concert must have been incredible. I can tell it was amazing from watching some footage recorded by the audience but I cannot imagine how the fans felt during this reunion concert. There are rumors that Jimmy Page suggested a world tour. Hopefully this will be real as millions of youngsters and young-at-heart would love this.

The setlist of the London reunion concert was:

1. “Good Times Bad Times”
2. “Ramble On”
3. “Black Dog”
4. “In My Time of Dying”
5. “For Your Life” (live debut)
6. “Trampled Under Foot”
7. “Nobody’s Fault but Mine”
8. “No Quarter”
9. “Since I’ve Been Loving You”
10. “Dazed and Confused”
11. “Stairway to Heaven”
12. “The Song Remains the Same”
13. “Misty Mountain Hop”
14. “Kashmir”

Encore:

15. “Whole Lotta Love”
16. “Rock and Roll”

I loved the ending - Jason kneeling down in front of THE Gods - Led Zeppelin.

Some were lucky enough to be there in person, for those of you who want to take a peak at how the first Led Zeppelin concert after more than 20 years was like check out the videos below. If you can help with videos of a better quality please leave a reply and give me a hand.
