David Gilmour played Pink Floyd’ early song “Remember a Day” as tribute to the late Richard Wright. The event took place on BBC2 TV show “Later… with Jools Holland”. As you remember Pink Floyd’s keyboardist Richard Wright died on 15th of September at 65 years old.
The track “Remember a Day” is from the 1968 Pink Floyd album “A Saucerful of Secrets” and was written by Richard Wright.

After this perfomance Gilmour said about Wright:
“He was a very self-effacing but very talented, lovely chap. We’re incredibly sad to have lost him.”
